Teaching a Field Medicine Course to Local Police in Niamey, Niger
About Me
Hi there! I’m an Air Force veteran who had the privilege of serving as an Emergency Medical Technician in some pretty dynamic environments like the Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, and EMS. Those high-pressure experiences honed my skills in decision-making, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication—all of which translate seamlessly into the world of instructional design. Who knew working in life-or-death scenarios would prepare me so well for designing engaging and effective training materials?
One of my favorite aspects of my career has been designing and instructing course curriculums in international settings. From Niger to Senegal to South Korea, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to connect with adult learners from diverse backgrounds and learning styles. Every experience has deepened my appreciation for adapting training methods to meet learners where they are—and seeing the “aha” moments when it all clicks is just the best feeling.
I’m deeply passionate about continuous process improvement and teaching. When you blend the two, you get innovative, fun, and engaging training solutions that actually deliver measurable results. For me, it’s all about creating impactful learning experiences that leave a lasting impression.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I’m excited about the opportunity to connect and discuss how my expertise in instructional design, education, and creating engaging learning experiences can contribute to your organization’s success.
